2CV Méhari Club Cassis X Gorille Cycles, an EDEN BAAK in the image of the Gorilla

Following an initial partnership in 2021 with BAAK, a French motorbike and car designer specialising in Backdating, the 2CV Méhari Club Cassis is announcing a new partnership this year with Gorille Cycles! To mark the occasion, a new 100% electric EDEN Mehari has been made up the image of the Gorille Cycles electric-assisted bicycles.

NEW PARTNERSHIP, NEW GORILLE

Created by a French engineer with Californian influences, Gorille Cycles offers atypical electric bikes, a far cry from today’s conventional designs. Designed for all-terrain use, they reflect the image of a Gorilla unafraid to tackle the wildest places. Equally at home in town, on the beach or in the forest, these bikes combine quality, comfort and performance. They can be adapted and modulated to suit individual tastes, catering for a clientele of true enthusiasts and ecomobility enthusiasts alike. By trying to produce as ethically and locally as possible, the company adds even more value to this popular means of transport. The Cadet is a perfect example of this approach: assembled in France, with a French battery, its saddle and handles can be customised and are made by a craftsman from the Landes region.

Sharing the same values as the 2CV Méhari Club Cassis, it was a natural step for the two organisations to join forces. With its EDEN project, the Méhari Club has been designing 100% electric Méhari cars since 2016. The company is now focusing on sustainable mobility, with the aim of giving a new lease of life to a vehicle that is almost 55 years old. The EDEN is built in the company’s Cassidian workshops, using the original codes and emblematic design of yesteryear. Combining driving pleasure, a vintage look and French manufacturing, the EDEN is totally in line with the values advocated by Gorille Cycles.

To celebrate this collaboration, the Mehari and the electrically-assisted bicycle have been harmonised. The result is a new EDEN Gorilla. Dressed all in black, with meticulous detailing and a spare wheel on the bonnet, it has the look of an adventurer. As its perfect counterpart, the CADET electric bike is just as robust, thanks to its powerful engine and wide tyres. This pair, with their vintage and adventurous looks, are easy to tame.

2-1

To cement this partnership, the sumptuous CADET electric bike is available to try out in our showroom in Cassis, and the EDEN Gorille can also be seen at Gorille Cycles in Hossegor!
